Main Purpose of the Role
Responsible for management, oversight, guidance and commercial culture of the project/s within the employee’s remit. Manage all commercial function with the Employees project/s including financial and commercial reporting, risk and opportunity management and overall financial forecasting. Ensure that all projects within the employees’ remit are operating consistently and effectively in the commercial space in line with company process.
Key Responsibilities
• Commercial risk management and direction of head contracts and subcontract packages.
• Setting and maintaining a culture of timeliness, accuracy, consistency and truth in all risk and commercial matters.
• Maximisation of value recovery, cost control and cash management.
• Taking a guiding role in respect to any commercial or legal action that may be taken against clients, subcontractors, suppliers or any other party with whom business transactions take place.
• Lead the implementation of fair and equitable contract terms and their application.
• Responsible for all contract issues including letting, variations, progress claims and contract correspondence.
