Sitzler is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to join our team in Western Australia. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major construction projects. This position is responsible for end‑to‑end contract administration, including management of head contracts and subcontract packages, oversight of variations, progress claims and commercial reporting, and working closely with project leadership to protect value, manage risk and drive strong commercial outcomes across the full project lifecycle.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration of head contracts in accordance with contractual requirements, timeframes and procedures

  • Lead the preparation and submission of progress claims, variations, delay claims and other contractual entitlements

  • Oversee subcontract procurement, including tendering, negotiation, award and execution of subcontract agreements

  • Administer subcontract packages, including assessment of claims, variations, extensions of time and final accounts

  • Provide day‑to‑day leadership, mentoring and support to Contract Administrators, ensuring consistency and compliance in contract administration practices

  • Ensure all contractual notices and correspondence are issued accurately and within required timeframes

  • Monitor and manage commercial risk, protecting contractual position and maximising value recovery on remote projects

  • Provide accurate commercial reporting, forecasting and cost‑to‑complete analysis

  • Support cash flow management through timely claims and payment tracking

  • Maintain contract registers, procurement schedules and commercial documentation

  • Work collaboratively with site teams, consultants, clients and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues

  • Ensure compliance with legislative, contractual and corporate requirements, including Security of Payment obligations

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in the construction industry, including senior contract administration
  • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement and commercial reporting
  • Proven experience delivering projects from award through to completion
  • High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project and site teams

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar
    (or equivalent industry experience)
  • White Card
  • Current Driver’s Licence
