Job Description
Includes but not limited to the following:
Provide administrative assistance for the project and carry out work as directed by the Project / Construction Manager
Assist in all contract administration requirements of the project, as directed
Administer collaboration systems for projects - i.e. Aconex, Project Centre
Establish and maintain project document registers and arrange for the distribution of approved documents
File, control and maintain all project related records and documents
Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets and obtaining authorisation from relevant staff
Manage camp accommodation and travel bookings for remote projects as directed by the Project / Construction Manager
In undertaking your role you must maintain the ability to access the project work site either permanently or at intervals required by the project as mandated by the Director’s
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge/skills/training required to carry out the job:
Recognised relevant qualification or minimum of 2 years in financial and project administration with middle level experience
Some understanding of construction materials and methods
Some knowledge of contract administration principles, some understanding of tendering principles
Ability to monitor and maintain the document management and filing system of the project
Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills
Good verbal communication, ability to write clearly and concisely
High level of attention to detail
High level of Microsoft Office computer literacy
Mandatory requirements of this position:
Applicants must be Australian Citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Defence Security Clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Nationally Recognised Construction Induction
