Job Description
As an integral part of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following key duties and tasks:
Undertaking maintenance, repairs, and servicing of heavy-duty plant equipment
Diagnosing faults and conducting appropriate troubleshooting activities
Performing preventative maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability
Participating in scheduled major component change outs and rebuilds
Completing accurate service reports and maintaining maintenance records
Adhering to safety procedures and ensuring compliance with company policies

About YOU!
Proven experience as a Heavy Duty (HD) Fitter or similar role
Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment
Experience working with earthmoving equipment, including loaders, excavators, and dozers
Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
